Skin Checks

A comprehensive skin check is a process of systematically checking your skin for early signs of skin cancer or skin disease. It involves a medical history and examination by a doctor with experience in identifying skin cancer and skin disease. Read more about what to expect.

Your doctor may want to take some digital images of any suspicious skin lesions. Digital imaging is an important aid in the diagnosis and monitoring of suspicious skin lesions. Read more about how we use digital imaging.

Your doctor may advise follow-up procedures to help diagnose and further manage suspicious lesions, this may include on the spot therapies or arranged appointments for further biopsies and treatment. Read more about the procedures we perform.

Temporary Change of Service

Unfortunately due to the current health crisis of Covid-19, we are unable to perform routine comprehensive skins checks

This doesn't mean we're not around, if you need:

  • a skin lesion reviewed or removed, or
  • have a referral from your GP

Please contact the office on 02 4423 1977 or 02 4422 1210 for a telephone consult to organise a review of your skin lesion and management as required.
